Taki Photography is a creative team led by Shin, based in NYC and Wellington.
 
Shin grew up in the countryside of Japan, surrounded by beautiful mountains. His pursuit of photography began while climbing these mountains.
Not only was he fascinated by taking photographs, he was attracted to the technical aspects of photography.
After graduating from university, where he studied photography and photographic engineering, he started working as a still life commercial photographer, while also
shooting documentary photographs of Himalayan and Tibetan culture as a personal work.
 
In 2003, he moved to NYC and began showing his personal work at a gallery.
in 2014, he took a family trip to NZ, and went on a road trip. He was fascinated by the people and landscape of NZ.
He currently lives in NZ, where he has been working on several personal works.
 
Taki photography specializes in high speed motion capture of commercial products (food, beverages and liquids) using the latest technology, including the Phantom 4K slow motion camera and high speed motion control robot. Our creative team provides the highest quality images and video, for assignments that range from small-scale web advertising to big billboards. We are always looking for new subjects, techniques, and approaches.
